The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) plays a pivotal role in addressing global disarmament challenges and promoting international security. Through its sessions at the United Nations Headquarters, DISEC fosters dialogue and collaboration among member states, striving for a safer and more peaceful world.

The agenda aims to analyze the impact of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks as a major turning point in the global order. It examines the effects of the War on Terror and the role of various countries in both fostering and combating terrorism. Remember, the freeze date of the committee session is 30 June, 2005. No events occurring after the freeze date will be entertained by the committee.
